Requesting Your Health Care Records
You have the right to request a copy of your health care records at any time. To do so, please contact us directly and we will walk you through the process.
Records are provided securely through your SimplePractice client portal. We will respond to all records requests within 14 business days. A reasonable processing fee may apply as permitted by Texas law.
Questions About Licensing or Professional Standards
North Austin Counseling is operated by a licensed mental health professional regulated by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC). If you have questions about licensure or professional standards, you may contact BHEC directly.

Filing a Consumer Complaint
If you have a concern about your health information, privacy, billing, or access to records that cannot be resolved by contacting us directly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Texas Office of the Attorney General.
You may also file a complaint directly with BHEC (see above) for concerns related to a provider's professional conduct or standards.
